Hatching in the “at home” Classroom!

These ducks were set to hatch in one of our local middle schools this week through our Hatching in the Classroom project. Due to school closures we were asked to pick up the eggs prior to their hatching to make sure they could be monitored more often. These videos will:

  • Introduce you to the incubation and candling processes
  • Highlight a duckling hatching
  • Show you newly hatched ducks
  • Teach you how to build a brooder box
